Just as in the previous years, this workshop is open to everyone who wants to come together in the beautiful countryside and play Tombak and Daf.
Whether you are a beginner or are an experienced musician, everyone has the opportunity to learn something new, to further develop feeling for rhythm and to practice.
Our seminar-house Schlagsülsdorf is surrounded by fields and forests. The village of Thandorf, with beautiful timber houses, lies 2 km away. The town of Lübeck in Hansestadt is only 20 km away. The Baltic Sea is half an hour away. During our stay we have booked the whole seminar-house. There are a total of 32 sleeping places.
The workshop will take place in a light seminar-room or in the joining nature-park, where we meet for two sessions daily as well as at night for drumming at the camp-fire. One seminar day is guided by Majid Karami, instrument maker and inventor of the Hamgam, who will give insight into his work of building percussion instruments – https://majiddrums.com.
Our site includes a lake to bathe in, fields to relax in, leafy trees and magical places where we can enjoy nature. In the free time there is also the possibility for walks through a surrounding forest, sauna and day trips to the sea.
A vegetarian/bio catering is included.
